Use VLC Media Player As A Video Converter

Hello Friends,

VLC player probably is one of the most feature rich media player used. Back then (before I knew vlc can convert) I used to waste a lot of time trying to download different kind of video converters that didn’t even get my job done properly, until recently I came to know that i already have the best free video converter possible. To convert a video or mp3, 3gp, AVI, FLV and more is very simple and today we go know how.

These are the simple steps to take if you want to convert your audio/ video using VLC player

FOR WINDOWS SYSTEM

1. Click Media at the top left corner, and then go to “Convert/Save…”

2. Select the file you want to convert using “Add” button. Now click on “Convert/Save” button and next window will appear.

3. Now click on browse, select where you want to save the converted file to and put the filename.

4. For the destination file you will see the location of the path where you want to convertthe file to

Change the last extension from .ps to whatever you want to save it as (screen shot below)

FOR MAC SYSTEM

1. Click File Streaming/Exporting Wizard and check Transcode/save to a file and hit Next.

2. Click choose and select the file you want to convert and hit Next again. Check Transcode video and audio boxes and select the output formats for you video, after hit Next twice.

3. Select the location where you want to save the output using Choose button, hit “Next” and later Finish.

Now get new IP Address for your computer. Just follow some steps and change it.

1) Goto Start -- Run.

2) In the Run box type cmd and press enter.

3) Now type below commands and press Enter after each line.

ipconfig/flushdns

ipconfig/release

ipconfig/renew

exit

4) Now clear your cookies and check ur IP, your pc is assigned with new IP.

How to Change wallpaper in the windows 7 log in screen

This is simple.
To change the the wallpaper  first RUN regedit.
Right click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and select find.
Give this word OEMBackground.

After finding OEMBackground  ,change its value 0 to 1.

Then go to the directory C:\Windows\System32\oobe.

Create there a folder and give the name INFO

Open that folder and inside that again create another folder then give the name BACKGROUNDS.

There paste the wallpaper you want to place instead of the default.

Give the name backgroundDefault to that picture.


Note: Size should be < 254 KB

1) Run --> regedit
2)
Goto HKEY_CURRENT_USER-->Control panel-->Desktop
Select Desktop
Several values will appear.
Select MenuShowDelay
Change its value 400 to 000
That's it

When you open your USB Pen drive you always find a white background. But today I will show you how to set wallpapers in your Pen drive and make it colourful.

1. Replace “YourPictureName.jpg” with your picture name for example “SalmanKhan.jpg”
2. Put “desktop.ini” and your chosen picture in your USB Drive then Hide it.
3. Refresh and enjoy with your new background in the USB Drive.

Method 2:

1)First of all, you need to have these 2 important files.Get it here.

2)Unzip it. Actually there are 1 folder called folder settings and the other one is file called desktop.ini.Copy Folder Settings and desktop.ini into your selected location like C: partition or D: or pendrive.(where you want to change the background ).

3)FIY, usually this 2 files are invisible.So, in order to able to see them, go to Folder Option > View, check "Show Hidden files" and uncheck "Hide Protected Operating system files". Then click OK.
-By now,you should be able to look the files.

4)Now, the implementation part. Let say you want to put the scenery pics as a background in your pendrive. Go to Folder Settings and find the related picture in it.( actually, you can put any pics in this folder)
...for instance, the picture name is "scenery.jpg".

5)Now, open desktop.ini files by double clicking on it. Find this line :-
IconArea_Image=Folder Settings\nice.jpg

and replace it with:-

IconArea_Image=Folder Settings\scenery.jpg

6)DONE ! Refresh your Pendrive or partition.

Note:You can change background of any partition.
